Entry forms for all showing classes must be completed by the owner or representative and sent to the Secretary: Miss Stacey Massey, Birchels Gorse, Barleycastle Lane, Appleton, Cheshire, WA4 4RF by the 5th May 2010. Entries on the day will be taken up to Noon (please see schedule for eligible classes). There will be a 5 surcharge for all entries taken on the day. 2. ALL SHOWJUMPING ENTRIES ON THE DAY ONLY BRITISH SHOWJUMPING AND UNAFFILIATED 3. Cheques must be payable to the Warrington Horse Society. ALL COMPETITOR NUMBERS TO BE COLLECTED ON SHOW DAY 4. Owners may enter as many horses as they wish, and all competitors are open unless stated otherwise in the schedule. 5. Entries will NOT BE ACCEPTED unless accompanied by the correct fees (and must include first aid tariff of 3 per competitor). 6. In the event of a horse or pony being unable to compete through illness, accident or the like, the Society will refund the whole of the entry fee on production of a Veterinary Certificate, (except in the case of British Showjumping showjumpers, which are provided for under British Showjumping rules please refer to British Showjumping rule book). 7. Exhibitors boxes and Exhibits must stand in the space allocated for their purposes. The Society will strictly enforce this condition. 8. Entries to be on showground half an hour before judging. 9. ALL PRIZE MONEY MUST BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW OTHERWISE IT WILL BE FORFEITED. No prize money will be given out without production of the Exhibitors number, rosette and class number. Prize money will be awarded once results received by Treasurer. 10. All trophies must be returned to the Secretary in good condition at least one month prior to the date of the next Show. 11. ALL RIDDEN CLASS COMPETITORS must wear a hard hat to the current BS and EU standard unless they are competing in Class 43 and 46 or 134 139 and have signed a Hat Waiver Form (on back of entry form) 12. It is recommended that competitors involved in jumping wear a body protector of the appropriate BS and EU standard. 13. A levy of 3.00 will be charged per competitor towards the cost of First Aid provision. 14. In Light horse classes, any class with less than six entries, prize money will be awarded to 1st and 2nd places only. Rosettes to 5th place will be awarded. NOTE: All Competitor numbers to be collected on Show Day. Please allow enough time to collect SAFETY FIRST To the General Public In the interests of safety please keep out of the horse walks and the Collecting Rings which have all been signed. Crossing points have been provided across the horse walks at regular intervals. To Owners/ Exhibitors/ Riders/Competitors. Due to the rigid safely regulations laid down by the Health and Safety Executive, you are strongly requested to take great care when moving horses on the Showground and remain within designated horse areas. Competitors who fail to do so may be asked to leave the Showground. Grooms and other helpers other than the person leading the horse or pony who fail to comply with stewards requests to leave the horse walk may be subject to disqualification.
